Meet Our Consultants
Charmaine Petersen is a California native. She and her husband have been married for 27 years and
have three wonderful children. She's been active on the Central Coast
Community for seven years (Aren't we blessed to live here!) and is a natural
people person, negotiator, good with details and phone contacts.
As a result of her experience of placing her Father in assisted living care, she
realized there was a great need for a personalized consulting service that
would eliminate the confusion and worry of finding the right placement for a
loved one.
She felt so strongly about this, she left a successful career in advertising to
devote her fulltime attention to helping people with this complicated and
demanding decision.
Nicole Pazdan was born and raised in San Francisco Ca., and moved her 3 boys to San Luis Obispo in 2000.
Nicole received her BA with a marketing concentration, from Cal Poly State University.
She has spent eight years of her career in the Health Care industry, and appreciates the rewarding
experience of working with families, and the medical community.
Nicole and her family eagerly anticipate the winter to go snowboarding. They take advantage of all San Luis
Obispo has to offer and spend the weekends golfing, hiking, and cycling.
Peggy Renker is a Placement Representative for Senior Living Consultants. Peggy, a twenty year resident of Santa Barbara, was born and raised in Harbor Springs, Michigan and is the youngest of nine children. Her mother and father, ages 85 and 89 respectively, reside in Indian Wells, California.
Peggy received her BA in Sociology from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1986. She has spent the majority of her career in the hotel/resort industry in a group sales capacity representing hotels such as La Quinta Golf and Tennis Resort in La Quinta, California to the Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara.
In the Fall of 2003, Peggy made the decision to pursue her interest in caring for senior citizens and began working for Senior Living Consultants. After volunteering for Meals on Wheels and other senior related activities over the past fifteen years, Peggy enjoys the opportunity to work with seniors and their families on a regular basis.
Peggy enjoys running, golf, reading and the natural beauty of Santa Barbara as often as possible.
